Naomi Ginter's PledgePage
As we have all seen through news reports and heard in personal testimonies, the states of Louisiana, Alabama, and Mississippi are still devastated by the aftermath of hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Through the loving support of donators world-wide, they have received an unbelievable amount of supplies. These supplies are crucial to the rebuilding of not only structures, but lives. As time goes on and reconstruction continues, they are in dire need of volunteers to contribute physically.
While many cannot contribute in this way, I am thrilled to say I have the opportunity! My heart breaks for those who have lost everything, and I know the burden on my heart for them is God-breathed. On the 24th of March I will be driving to New Orleans, LA with my father, Jonathan Ginter. We will be meeting a group from Blue Hens for Christ and staying with them at Tammany Oaks Church of Christ, working alongside an organization they have established. The planned return date for the group is April 1st. I write for two reasons. First, to encourage you to continue in your prayers for those effected by this natural disaster. While the days and weeks fly by for us, they are painstakingly piecing their lives back together. Secondly, I write to ask for your financial assistance. Would you please consider joining me by contributing to the funds necessary for this trip? Through much prayer, and some financial assistance, I will not only be able to make this trip, but remain for an extended period of time. I have not put any definite return date on my trip - the more help I get, the longer I can stay! |
